Whereas science is fundamentally a result of a dialogic debate, the authoritative approach has been conceived of as a fundamental part of school science. Dialogic interactions encompass the mutual appreciation of different ideas manifested in teacher supportiveness toward students and, in authoritative interactions, the focus is more on the science’s or teacher’s point of view. Resumen: La presente propuesta de experiencia práctica aspira a compartir los buenos resultados conseguidos en un curso de español como lengua extranjera dirigido a inmigrantes realizado en “L’Espai d’Inclusió i Formació Casc Antic” (Eicascantic Barcelona), en el que se combinó el enfoque comunicativo con el enfoque por tareas con los objetivos de mejorar el nivel lingüístico de los alumnos y de favorecer su inclusión social en su nuevo contexto. It is commonly believed that science teachers rely on language that allows only minor flexibility when it comes to taking into account contrasting views and pupil thoughts. Komunikatīvo uzdevumu izmantošana modālo darbības vārdu mācīšanā augstskolā

Angļu valodas modālie darbības vārdi studentiem rada ievērojamas grūtības to gramatiskās un funkcionālās dažādības dēļ. Pētnieki un metodiķi uzsver uz konteksta bāzes veidotu komunikatīvo uzdevumu pielietojuma nozīmīgumu efektīvākai gramatisko formu, īpaši modālo darbības vārdu, apguvei un nostiprināšanai. Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt komunikatīvo uzdevumu ietekmi modālo darbības vārdu apguvē un to pielietojumā reālās situācijās. Tika veikts kvazi eksperiments, kurš ietvēra divas aptaujas, pilot-nodarbības, kā arī studentu zināšanu pārbaudi testa veidā pirms eksperimenta un tā beigās.
